This main page is supplementary to the forums. We would love to see you there! Praising the Lord (PTL) is a Christian community of people from a variety of different denominations and places. There is a verse posted each day straight from the Bible. There are places for fellowship, discussion about God, prayer requests, praises, music discussion, and cool things you want to share!
About Us:
You may be wondering why I started this site. The short answer is that God put it on my heart, and when He does something like that, you just can't go on with things normally without doing what He wants!The long answer is that irregardless of the calling, I wanted a place online for fellowship that is non-denominational and not restricted to people from one area. I knew a forum like that once, but it sort of died when the admins moved and then lost their password... I won't let that happen because my password is deeply ingrained in my memory... a lot of other Christian forums are for people from a certain church or organisation. I hope this won't be like that, but that it will draw people from all different backgrounds from around the world. I asked Karrie to co-found it with me because I know she has a very strong faith and is great at supporting me in all I do. She came up with the name of the site, which, thanks to God, was not yet taken, so I think that it worked out perfectly. I pray this will be a place where everyone feels comfortable coming and that the conversations that take place here will help us all to grow in Christ. Most of all, I hope that this will become what God wants it to be and not something made by the selfish desires of a person like me.
I hope you all enjoy this place and learn, and remember - just because I say something, doesn't make it right, and you are free to contradict me!
